Why Should I learn technology

 

Introduction

This generation we are currently living in is heavily technology-dominated. You can rest assured that in the near future, it will only get more technocratic with new flying cars, powerful Ai's (artificial intelligence), humanoid robots, more self-driving cars, airplanes, ships, motor bicycles, and a lot more new inventions my mind cannot think of at the moment. Consider your smartphones, laptops, watches, and so on.

It's like I'm even dwelling on just the hardware part of technology, looking at the many advances that have come into software development like; Grammarly, ChatGPT, Google's Bard Ai and so many more. The big tech companies that engage in such development are really helping the world and increasing productivity. These tech companies literally control the world with the sensitive data they possess and store.

I will not be ignorant of how technology is also being used to cause harm. Talking about the Russian-Ukraine war, which is currently ongoing. 

"A powerful technology in the hands of man, will likely be used as a weapon" (Mark Anthony Graham).

I wish we could get through this peacefully, but it is difficult to separate power-thirsty people from ruining the beauty of technology😢😢. But I will speak on this matter some other time. For now, let's focus on the topic at hand.

what is adaptation? Adaptation refers to the process by which organisms adjust to changes in their environment to better survive and reproduce. 

As strange as it may sound, I strongly believe that learning to use technology is a way for 21st-century human beings to adapt to the new way of life that is fast approaching. Considering the Covid-19 pandemic that took the world by storm killing millions of people it took technology and science to help man to adapt and live with this virus.

Learning how to code can better help you to survive on a planet that is about to be saturated with technology and lots of it (including humanoid robots and Ai's). This may be futuristic but this is gradually becoming reality. To survive this new era, it is very essential to be able to communicate instructions to these new family teammates coming in a hard-bodied form with CPUs running their entire existence on earth.

 With automated systems doing almost perfect jobs than humans and sometimes coming at a less cost, a lot of people stand a chance of losing their jobs to machines. Also, with men still learning how to balance weapons with human issues, killing millions during this learning period.
